Welcome!

When I first started the idea for a blog, I had every intention to make the best of it, write everyday and make it known on search engines. After working a full time job, I began to realize I had no time to write for this blog, or make it known the way I wanted to. When you work in a field like mine, one may be exhausted at the end of the day and that's enough of a reason not to write. When I think about it, there is a reason to write, and often times we write blogs to get our voices heard in regards to things we like or believe in. We create the blog to make it attractive to readers and use our blogs to inspire others.

And we also use the blogs to introduce ourselves and who we are, what we do. In that case, I am known professionally as Miss Dani. As for what I do, well, let's just say it's a lot. If someone were to ask me what I couldn't live without, it would be my phone, tablet, lip balm, coffee and XM Radio. I am the director of a large preschool in Madison, WI, a certified professional nanny, owner of a babysitting service, and I'm also a Pink Papaya skincare consultant, plus aspiring author and singer.

So how does a girl find time to do everything? I honestly don't know. I have ADHD, and if you know anything about that, ADHD children are bright, creative children with endless energy. Maybe that's why I take on more than I can handle and multi-task, attempting to do several things at once. Then again, multi-tasking is my life: I have been in the field of early childhood education for nineteen years, with most of my experience being in the classroom. I've also worked as a nanny. Working with children means doing many things at once: and it's not easy.

This girl relaxes by reading, working out, watching movies and more. During college I struggled with football season, and which came first: football or homework. I also like baseball and hockey, plus WWE.  Some of my favorites are urban fiction, otherwise known as "street lit", 80's movies, plus the Dick Wolf created "Chicago shows." Being a Chicago girl in WI, of course I love my city-and their teams. I also enjoy arts and crafts and shopping. It's sad when you go to Sephora or another store and are greeted by name, or your on a first name basis with the staff.

My tagline is "teaching those who teach how to teach and teaching those who learn, including parents". In this blog, you will find articles on parenting and child development, tips for teachers, celebrity dish, celebrity diss and current events. You may even see WWE things too, and dish on sports, plus beauty advice and tips. Anything. Everything.

Again, welcome to the blog. Enjoy! Got a story readers may be interested in? Send it over. Comments are always welcome, and feel free to pass the blog around more than the Kardashians. (See? I told you there would be celeb diss.)

Thanks to Erin at Mama Bear Bliss and Jamie of Running Diva Mom for the inspiration and making me realize I have time, just not excuses.
