Tuesday Tip: Microwave Playdough

Every Tuesday, we will have a tip for parents and early childhood education professionals. These tips can range from dealing with picky eaters, to nap time, travel with children, finding childcare/babysitters, or helpful tips for educators to use when working with children and families. There may be lifestyle and beauty tips too! Enjoy!

Many teachers have asked me if play dough can be made in the microwave. Yes it can! Follow your favorite play dough recipe and place in the microwave for one minute. Stir and repeat until the dough forms a ball, just like the stove top method. Mix together with hands, and enjoy!
